kern-lillingston-association

The Kern Lillingston Association was formed in the early nineteen-nineties by Kern Thoroughbreds of Lexington, Kentucky, and Lillingston Bloodstock, based in the UK/Ireland to create an international bloodstock agency with a truly global reach.

Lincoln Collins is president of Kern Thoroughbreds, a bloodstock agency with a proven record in the international bloodstock community. Joe Miller joined Kern Thoroughbreds in 2004. Joe specialises in International Racing and Racing and Breeding Management for Kern Thoroughbreds. Notable successes for the Kern Lillingston Association include the Eclipse Award winner Golden Apples; Kentucky Group 1 winning two-year-old Square Eddie and Forte Dei Marmi, winner of the Gr.1 Northern Dancer Turf Stakes at Woodbine.

Situated in the renowned Maigue Valley, which forms part of the Golden Vale in County Limerick, the farm has been in the Lillingston family for three generations.

Mount Coote has produced a steady stream of top class performers. Since 1963, graduates have now won nearly 150 Stakes races between them worldwide and the majority of these have been foaled and raised on behalf of clients boarding mares at the stud. Mount Coote regularly features amongst the leading consignors at the prestigious Tattersalls Yearling Sales, and was responsible for the record-priced 4,700,000gns broodmare sold at Tattersalls December Sales in 2013.
