Kennet Valley Thoroughbreds In Fantastic Form

 In Latest News

It has been a fantastic period for Kennet Valley Thoroughbreds. Persian Moon, multiple stakes placed and OR; 103, has been sold to continue racing in Saudi Arabia. Flashcard, placed in a Group 3 on his latest start and OR; 107 has also been sold and will continue racing in Hong Kong. It will be exciting to follow the progression of their retrospective careers.

On Monday Evening, Sir Busker was a very exciting winner at Kempton under an exemplary hold-up ride from Jamie Spencer. The Spring Mile / Lincoln at Doncaster next spring could be on the agenda next year given his aptitude for handling a bit of dig in the ground. He won off a rating of 89 and will now be rising into the low to mid 90’s.

On Wednesday evening, Dance Fever produced another good performance to beat a well-fancied rival in Pepper Bay and win for the second time in as many starts. Adam Kirby was reportedly impressed with the colt and arguably they won a shade snuggly at the line with the front two pulling well clear of the rest. Dance Fever will now have some very interesting plans ahead of him. Fingers crossed for the future.

Finally, a Stalwart of the Kennet Valley team, Magical Memory, returned to ridden exercise this week. It would be fantastic to see the dashing grey on the racecourse again.
