Quattroelle gains valuable Black Type at Del Mar

Quattroelle ran a huge race on Saturday evening to finish 3rd in the Grade 3 Jimmy Durante Stakes at Del Mar, San Diego. She was an impressive winner on her debut in America and was making just her third lifetime start on Saturday. Quattroelle battled bravely to recover from trouble in running on the final turn, quickening impressively in the final 400m. She is a very exciting filly and we are delighted for her owner Tim Cohen who is a great supporter of racing in California. Congratulations to her trainer Jeff Mullins and breeder Rossenarra Stud.

Quattroelle was purchased privately with Joe Miller of Kern Thoroughbreds after an impressive debut at Leopardstown earlier this summer. She is the fourth horse in our previous five purchases with Joe to been placed or better at Stakes Level in America.
